Homeck is a HomeKit app for iPhone. It looks like the Home app, and underneath it shows every value your accessories publish, builds real automations and backs up your whole setup. It is not made by Apple.
Yes. Automations and alerts run on your Apple home hub, so they keep working with the app closed.
Yes. Homeck exports your rooms, scenes, automations and tags to a file you keep, such as in Files or iCloud Drive, and restores them later. The backup never holds setup codes.
In the iOS Keychain on the iPhone where you saved them. They can be read only while that iPhone is unlocked and never move to another device, so keep your own copy of any code you cannot afford to lose.
Set a threshold on any value, such as battery below 20% or humidity above 70%. When it is crossed, your home hub opens a link on the Homeck relay, which passes the alert to Apple's push service. The relay stores nothing.
No. Homeck has no account, no analytics, no ads and no tracking. Your home stays on your iPhone and in Apple Home. The privacy policy has the details.
